Gracie and Rachel to join Ani DiFranco on UNPRECEDENTED SH!T: THE TOUR

Today, Gracie and Rachel announce they will join their fellow Righteous Babe Ani DiFranco on UNPRECEDENTED SH!T: THE TOUR in Europe and the UK.

“We are beyond ecstatic to be heading to EUROPE + THE UK with MAMA DiFRANCO this SUMMER!” Gracie and Rachel add. “We all need a collective yell right now about some sh!t that’s been going down in the world, and getting out of the country to play in these rooms across the pond feels like an epic way to get to do just that.”

Seen on stages opening for Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and more, the Brooklyn-based piano-violin duo Gracie and Rachel have performed two NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and been praised by the outlet to “mix pop and classical in stark, infectious ways and make unforgettable, surprising music.” Blending baroque elements, ethereal soundscapes, and penetrating vulnerability, the duo creates an emotionally haunting sound all their own.

Gracie and Rachel’s sophomore full-length, ‘Hello Weakness, You Make Me Strong’, released on Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records and named amongst NPR Music’s Bob Boilen’s Top 10 Songs of the Year, explores the depths of our emotional states and the walls we build up inside ourselves. The duo’s third full-length record is expected later this year.

See Gracie and Rachel on tour this summer as they open for Ani DiFranco across Europe and begin to share music from their forthcoming LP.
