We love the fact that everyone walks to the beat of their own Drums & Tuba when spreading the word about Righteous Babe Records. Whether you prefer to work on your own, you have a wacky schedule, or you live in a city where we don’t currently have an official Street Team opening, there are still some great ways for you to contribute. Here are a few examples:
- Download and pass out fliers to let folks in your area know about new Righteous Babe album releases and RBR shows in your area
- Call or email your local college and indie-friendly radio stations and request that they play tunes from RBR artists
- Create a myspace page to connect with fans of RBR or fans of specific RBR artists
- Write about your favorite RBR artists in a blog
- Write reviews of RBR albums and shows for a local or college paper
- Join related and competitive artist message boards and post information about RBR artists
- If you or your friends work at a store, café, bar, club, art space, or coffeehouse that allows its employees to choose the overhead music, pop in an RBR disc
- Play an RBR disc between artists at a local concert or open mic
