So you dig Righteous Babe Records...

You've got the full catalog of Ani CDs, you answer “Hamell on Trial” with a smile when asked for your favorite punk band, you've been practicing your whistling to impress Andrew Bird, and you're constantly going on about your love for RBR. You've always wanted to do more to spread the word about your favorite record label from Buffalo, NY. Well, we like your style...and we're here to put those grassroots urges into motion!

One way we get the RBR word out is via our Street Team program.

The Street Team is a small army of volunteers in major markets with a long-term commitment to promoting the music of RBR artists. They build up buzz about upcoming album releases, get the word out about RBR artist shows, and spread the indie ideals of RBR to their corner of the world. Since we have limited resources for this program, we only support about a dozen relatively small Street Teams and (alas!) our Street Team members are unpaid.

Street Team members get to all the nooks and crannies that RBR can't otherwise reach.

Street Team members pound the pavement to find new RBR converts and to build on their relationships with clubs, bars, coffeehouses, art spaces, record stores, and other retail locations (book stores, skate shops, head shops, etc.).
